Making a Come Back

Shew! Let me start by saying I am so grateful for my health. I came down a what seems like my annual case of bronchitis. It wipes me out every year. After 4 weeks of not being able to breath at normal capacity, I am back! Wahoo! Thank you antibiotics and cough suppressant, you may my life bearable.
I can feel like doing more than what I have to do. I finally feel like I have energy again. I might even be able to workout again. Say what?! I truly am grateful for a body that works as it should. I have such compassion for those who have the challenge of physical bodies that do not work properly. I am amazed by their ability to overcome, endure, and be happy with their physical limitation.

You are truly inspiring.

Nurture Photography Challenge Spring 2013: Lilac/Flowers

I loved these beautiful lilac blossoms that dotted the lush green landscape of Arkansas. Such a contrast to the earth tones of Arizona.

Flowers from our local farmers market.

Nurture Photography Challenge Spring 2013: Green/Nature

I recently visited Bentonville, Arkansas for a work event. It is gorgeous there! I loved it. I would move there in a heartbeat...if only it were closer to my family in California :(. It reminds me of eastern Tennessee where I lived for 18 months serving an LDS mission. I will forever have a place in my heart for southern hospitality, one lane roads, gravel driveways, and rolling hills of green.

Nurture Photography Challenge Spring 2013: Turquoise/Splash

I came across this bin of glass at an antique sale. I loved the look of all the smooth and shiny glass mixed with the rough and rusted metal all mixed with pops of turquoise. So unique. So pretty.

All Things Are Possible

I was searching for a spiritual thought and came across this quote from Heber J. Grant. I loved it. This life is full of challenges, but we, if we try, with God's help can make the climb.

Family - Free Printable

Families are
unique and diverse.
Some are funny.
Some are serious.
Some are big.
Some are small.
Some are good.
Some are bad.
Some make us happy.
Some make us sad.
They are ours.
We are theirs.
They are forever.

Whatever the design of your family, they have shaped you into the person you are today. Wether you have grown beyond them or with them, they have made you, you.

In honor of families I created the free printable below. My hope is that it will reflect the kind of family I build one day.

I Love these Camera Bag!

I find myself wanting to take my camera with me more and more these days. What this means is shoving it into the top of my too full purse...which ends up looking like a hot mess, but hey, I have my camera when I want it. That's what matters, right?! In an effort to appear more normal and little less embarrassing to those not afraid to be seen in public with me I have been looking for a good yet still stylish bag. I think I may have found the perfect one! So excited! I will be saving my pennies, people.

I introduce to you the Kelly Moore bag...the 2-Sues to be specific. You must check out Kelly's shop. I love that she create little mini videos showing the inside, outside, and how the bag looks when being worn. The videos are incredibly helpful.

Why they are great???
1. They come with a cross body strap, which has a little pad. (so you don't end up with Grand Canyon sized gouges on your shoulder).

2. They have a bazillion pockets. (perfect for a collector, like myself).

3. They come in fun colors.

4. They look like a really cute purse.

5. The insert are movable/adjustable.

6. You can fit your entire camera with lens inside, plus additional lenses/flashes.

My second favorite...which would be perfect for traveling is the Libby.

Go check them out! You will be in love. Promise.
