I am alive! I promise!

It's been a while. So sorry. Life is crazy, working full-time, going to school part-time, and fulfilling my church, friend, and family duties. One day I will be able to dedicate more time to creating, for now I will take advantage of school breaks and holidays.

Conversation at Church

This Sunday I shared a pew with one of the cute little families at church. Their little girl "A" is 4 years old, blond wispy hair, and big blue eyes. Midway through the meeting, I felt those big blue eyes starring at me. I looked over at her, sensing a question, I leaned down.

This is our little coversation...

A: (whispering) Are you a cowgirl?
Me: (whispering back) Today I am.
A: Look of understanding and acceptance.
Me: I love your shoes.
A: Shyly, Thanks.

....perhaps it was the braids or maybe the boots (don't we all have a little cowgirl in us?).
